This original drawing is 20" x 18" and beautifully framed and ready to hang.
Using pastel pencil, this depicts a beautiful memory of mine as follows.
My dad was a plant operator and wore work clothes most of the time, but when I was six, I saw him in a well-tailored, pin-striped suit, white shirt and tie and he wore a white carnation boutonniere as he'd just been to a wedding. I recall how very handsome he was and how proud I was that he was my dad. He bent down to me to give me his white carnation (complete with silver foil around the stem) and to this day I recall that precious moment every time I smell a carnation. This is Albert's carnation.
